Papi, a Puerto Rican bar and restaurant located in the old port is looking for a Front of House Manager!
This person will be responsible for managing the overall flow of service, overseeing, and training staff, communications between staff, guests, and management, maintenance of our reservation and point of service systems, and handling all issues that come up during service. This role is a presence on the floor to assist with any staff member or guest during dinner service. This person must have an extensive knowledge of our food and cocktail menus to assist staff and guests. This person is responsible for communicating between staff, guests, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service.
This person will be present on the floor three to four nights a week and will be responsible for both opening and closing of the restaurant and should be comfortable with these duties, cash out procedures and cash handling. This is a salaried position with benefits such as PTO/Sick Days, health, dental, and vision insurance.
