I own a one year old English Setter Llewellyn. I do have a kennel but often it's sometimes booked when I need to book a trip sporadically. I work for myself and sometimes need to jet out for a day or a few days to client sites. I also fly on Sundays locally so will need coverage on most Sunday afternoons.
I need an ADULT MALE for the role I think. He's very strong, fast and being raised as a upland hunting dog. Great if you have experience w other hunting breeds and/or have a dog.
He's about 40 lbs, wirey still growing (will get to 75lbs) loves to run and play fetch, well behaved, very smart, adorable. He's a puppy and has a lot of energy so he likes to fetch with a ball, go for walks and loves to play with other dogs (We go to Willard Beach and Portland Headlight or East End Beach for example) He's being trained as a hunting dog so an ideal situation is some adults who have or know hunting dog breeds and has friendly dogs who have a yard. He has a travel crate and another large metal crate, beds, all kinds of toys, treats I provide full instructions on his behaviors, food, and signs and words he responds to. As he is trained for hunting, he knows some very specific commands and will respond. He needs daily exercise. All vaccines up to date.
I fly commercially out of PWM and BOS routinely so anyone in the vicinity between Brunswick and Portland Area (closer to 295 route better not to far away ) will be fine.
I'm willing to pay $20/hour when I'm just flying local (usually on Sundays at a local airport for a few hours) and $100/day when overnighting (not often). Usually it's going to be from noon to 6pm.
