We have an immediate opening for a Level 3 Network Cable Installer.
Job Description
Under direction, Individuals will lead, oversee and participate in performing a wide variety of skilled tasks. These tasks include installation, repair, troubleshooting, planning, modifications and designs of network equipment installs.
Job Responsibilities:
Installation and routing of CAT5e, CAT6 or Fiber Optic cables
Installation of Cabling Support Structures
Installation of Card Access Systems
Installation of Business phone systems
Installation of Video Surveillance systems
Ability to Test/Troubleshoot network issues
Network Troubleshoots / Break Fixes
Skills:
Electronics troubleshooting
Analyzing information
Strong communication skills
Strong sense of quality workmanship, and the drive to complete quality work
Maintain effective communications with customers and employees
Job Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record
1+ years experience in low voltage network cabling, and/or audio/video
Customer service skills
Be able to lift minimum of 50lbs
Must be able to bend, lift, crawl, climb ladders, crouch, kneel, stoop, pull, push and repetitive motions
Activities occur both inside and outside
Be able to work from heights such as on man lift, scissor and rooftops
Exposure to noisy or dusty conditions, chemical & solvents, mechanical, electrical and/or other hazards
Must have the motivation to be successful!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
