Job Description:
We are looking for a sailboat rigger or sailboat rigging assistant to assist with de-rigging and un-stepping sailboats for service and storage. Work with our team to assess, repair, replace, install and maintain spars, rigging hardware, standing and running rigging. Fabricate lifelines, install deck hardware, build and service furlers. We bend and un-bend sails and perform basic DC electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Utilize other marine related skills to assist other departments. Work in our well-equipped rigging shop that is 120’ by 30’. Padded mast racks, trolley system for lifting and lowering spars, heated, well lit, large windows, polished concrete floors with 60’ work bench. TEREX BT3000 boom truck for un-stepping / stepping from water or land.

Job Requirements:
You should be a positive, self-motivated team player with good communication skills. General boat yard work experience with rigging specific experience is preferred. Ability to lift 100 pounds and work aloft preferred. Qualified boom truck operator and boat moving experience a plus but not necessary.
