Stitcher/Sewing Machine Operator (14 Mariaville Road. Ellsworth, ME)

Job Description:
- Cut and assemble custom covers according to dimensions required on customer orders
- Covers include zippers and/Velcro closures
- Supports the manufacturing processes relative to the department/area in which they are assigned.
- Operate manufacturing equipment based on the established written procedures and work rules.
- Responsible for achieving expected production standards in both quantity and quality.
- Understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
- Perform daily light cleaning of assigned work area in order to maintain clean operating environment.
- Cut all lose threads and execute quality checks in accordance to department/area requirements
Education:
Minimum of High School/High School Equivalent
Work Experience:
1+ or more years in a factory/manufacturing environment preferred. Experience operating high speed industrial sewing and serger machines required.
Other requirements include: Occasional heavy lifting
