Maine Barn Company is looking to hire employees for a busy season of timber frame raisings and panel installation. Ideal candidates should be eager to work as an integral part of our team in the shop.
Willing to train the right candidate as well.
Duties: Layout, cut, and raise timber frame structures with strong attention to detail. Structural Insulated Panel installation. Boarding of structures after raising. Additional aspects of general carpentry as needed for local frames.
Requirements of the Job: Knowledge of timber frames and general building methods. Ability to interpret shop drawings for construction. Ability to carry out assignments with attention to detail, either alone or on a team.
