This Systems Engineer position is a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and wireless infrastructure. This is a permanent opportunity. Qualified candidates should apply as soon as possible!Your responsibilities- Keep an eye on and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, discern possible solutions, and concur with developers to put into practice those fixes- Partake in the design of information and operational support systems- Display active participation to warrant the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability- Govern and oversee all installed systems and infrastructure- Record and keep custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Test, configure, install, and maintain application software, system management tools, and operating systems- Grant 2nd and 3rd level support- Provide backup, redundancy strategies, and security Requirements - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with automation software - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365- Foundational knowledge in VMware- FortiGate experience highly desired- Microsoft Office 365 experience required- Proficiency in Hyper-V - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems - It is preferred for applicants to have solid scripting skills - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with monitoring systems - If you have experience with virtualization and containerization, you will be strongly preferred for this position - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid networking knowledge Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
