Purpose:

The Director of Product - Supply Chain Portfolio (SC) oversees the SC portfolio of products to ensure aligned and cohesive product strategy and leads a group of Product Managers responsible for the products within the portfolio. This role works with cross-functional SC leadership to set the strategic direction for the portfolio as a whole ($25-$100M+ portfolio investment)- ensuring that collectively, the products achieve targeted business value realization and achieve targeted business vision and strategy goals. They lead the development of a product portfolio roadmap, then oversee a process to bring the business vision to life through roadmap execution. This role is looking across the portfolio to identify new product opportunities, opportunities to improve existing products, and optimizing resource allocation (e.g., money and people) across the portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Consult on overall portfolio and investment plan to develop, maintain, and coordinate portfolio strategy.
  • Align product portfolio roadmap with business strategy to ensure build for the right products in the right sequence to achieve business strategy and value realization.
  • Oversee the development and communication of vision, goal, strategy, and integrated resource plan to align team effectively.
  • Monitor strategic changes and revise portfolio strategy and pipeline priorities to respond to market/competitor conditions, regulatory requirements, customer feedback, performance results, risk of portfolio, and resource capacity.
  • Monitor product portfolio to ensure constant innovation and scalability.
  • Develop portfolio program reporting and analysis to evaluate results against established criteria and benefit metrics.
  • Deliver portfolio status report to facilitate project prioritization and portfolio management process.
  • Collaborate to gather information and identify needs and market trends to anticipate future demand.
  • Develop and own KPIs/OKRs to measure success.
  • Partner in lockstep with leadership stakeholders to define product timelines and launch criteria to drive growth in profitability and market share.
  • Guide team through continuous experimentation including changes and iterations to previous products.
Qualifications:
  • Deep Supply Chain subject matter expertise in one or more function / system.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional work experience/certification
  • 10+ years related experience with 5+ years' experience leading teams
  • Excellent understanding of Agile product strategy and SAFe development to ensure successful delivery of value-add solutions
  • Expert on trends, industry standards, and evolving market opportunities and high-value products
  • Entrepreneurial perspective in performing demand planning, forecasting activities and budget, and mitigating risk - well-versed in weighing options and trade-offs to drive towards product and value stream goals.
  • Key Skills: Project/Program Methodologies, Demand Management, Performance Metrics, Value-centric, Business Acumen, Collaboration, ability to influence and present at executive level
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Product Manager or experience working on a product/squad team
  • Deep subject matter expertise across a variety of SC functions / systems
