IT Manager, Fulltime, Onsite - South Portland, Maine Kelly Technology is looking for an IT Manager to oversee the IT Team. The IT Manager role is centered on delivering IT solutions that meet the business needs of the site.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • One of the critical job duties will be working with the site manufacturing management and staff and leading the CIM Team at the site to deliver appropriate solutions for the business.
  • Another important job function is to ensure that good practices are deployed and maintained to minimize risk, so that continuous manufacturing is achieved at the site.
  • IT Manager will work with site management to identify area for improvement, to work with the local IT team and site staff to identify appropriate solutions and to set out plans to ensure the desired business benefits are delivered.
  • IT Manager will coordinate the IT CIM Team projects and IT infrastructure provision. (The CIM Team primarily develop manufacturing automation solutions for the site incorporating equipment control, dispatch, maintenance, manufacturing execution, etc.).
  • To resolve day-to-day priority conflicts.
  • To ensure developed solutions incorporate the 24x7 nature of the business.
  • To communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • To deploy and ensure good practices are maintained across IT at the site.
  • To ensure appropriate metrics are adhered to for the site.
  • To ensure the site adheres to the corporate required cyber security approaches.
  • An understanding of the impact to the business of a service loss and establishment of business continuity responses both for prevention of loss and for quickly responding to an outage
  • To be able to quickly problem solve in a diverse manufacturing environment to ensure continuity of the manufacturing operation and when problems do arise to seek solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • To develop IT staff at the site to meet the changing needs of the business.

Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstratable experience of managing an IT development team.
  • Demonstratable experience of delivering projects that meet expectations.
  • A good working knowledge of business continuity.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of factory automation.
  • Experience of managing and problem solving in a complex multiplatform environment.
