Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Business Intelligence Developer/Solution Architect in our Enterprise Services Group Business Unit. This position requires a DOD Secret Clearance.The Business Intelligence Developer/Solution Architect will:Assist team with evaluations and recommendations of Power BI and other Analytic toolsDevelop key programmatic, financial and customer centric applications, visualizations, metrics, and reports in Power BIGather and document functional and technical requirements, and translate requirements into Business Intelligence solutionsWork with various users to assist in the creation of reports and meaningful analytics for end usersProvide support as required to ensure availability and optimized performance of developed applications and visualizations for both external and internal usersDevelop a strong understanding of the business and systems to support the customer's strategic objectivesWhen applicable, prepare clear and concise application documentation for business usersTrain and support users on developing applications and visualizationsMeet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely mannerDevelop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfacedRecommend enhancements and modifications to optimize business intelligence processesRequired/Desired Skills:Expertise designing, developing, and implementing Business Intelligence applications with a strong focus on reporting and visualizationsKnowledge of SAP Business Objects or Qlik Sense a plusExperience working in a DOD Environment a plusKnowledge of database design techniques and SQL skillsStrong detail-orientation and excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDesire to enhance development skills and research alternatives to accomplish tasks and drive innovationPositive interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen, ask probing questions, and ensure accurate understanding of internal client needsAbility to function independently and within an agile teamExperience in Enterprise Architecture & Design, Configuration & DeploymentRequired Education:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Math, or Statistics or related technical disciplineDesired Certifications:Technical Certifications (CompTIA Security + Certification may be needed in the future. DSA will provide materials, training and testing if needed.)Power BI, Qlik or additional technical certifications a plusMUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD CLEARANCE ; this will be verified prior to interview. Therefore, only US Citizens can be considered for this position.Our BI Developer role is available and considered temporary.
