Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Computer Scientist. The Computer Scientist will support the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The scope of this effort is to support research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) warfighting capabilities. DSA will assist the I2WD in the goal of meeting the needs of increasingly complex systems requirements and technologies. Required Education, Certifications and Security Clearance
- BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- DoD 8570.01 IAT or IAM Level II certification
- TS // SCI
- At least 8 years of experience with the following capability areas:
- Researching and developing activities in programming, data structures, algorithms, software security, software engineering, experimental design, databases, and modeling, computational tools, enterprise architectures, and advanced concepts of automation and information processing
- Developing and optimizing highly complex scientific codes, algorithms, models, visualizations and system support applications for enterprise systems using various commercial and software packages and tools, computer languages, and techniques
- Rendering advice and guidance on a wide range and variety of complex scientific computing issues
- Experience with computer science, policies, theories, principles and concepts to apply to scientific methods and techniques to solve assigned problems.
- Experience with theoretical foundations of computer science, including digital computer systems architecture and systems software organization.
- Professional knowledge of computer science and related disciplines to design, develop and adapt scientific methods and techniques to recommend solutions for computer problems.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and apply computer science procedures in a variety of situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate independently, or collaboratively across multiple functional areas
- Experience in working with cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with ICITE Cloud concepts and architectures
- Knowledge of Agile software development project methodologies
- Understanding of enterprise-level data analysis, machine-learning, operations research, modeling, and business/mission intelligence tools. Developing, implementing, integrating, and evaluating IC data architecture-related projects
- The hours for this role are Full-time, Regular - Start and End times are dependent on customer requirements
