Database Architect Technology Enabled Analytics (TEA)Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an experienced Database ArchitectThe Database Architect will support the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The scope of this effort is to support research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) war-fighting capabilities. DSA will assist the I2WD in the goal of meeting the needs of increasingly complex systems requirements and technologies.Required Education, Certifications and Security ClearanceBachelor's Degree in Computer ScienceTS//SCIRequired QualificationsAt least 8 years of experience in developing and documenting database architectures via database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stagesAt least 8 years of experience developing database solutions by designing proposed systems; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recoveryAt least 8 years of experience using ETL (extract, transform, load) best practices in the creation of the databaseAt least 8 years of experience determining database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programmingAt least 8 years of experience managing data structure at the design phase of database managementExperience with proposing architecture, design and data ingestion concepts.Experience researching, identifying, and implementing data enrichment technologies that can be incorporated into the ingest streamExperience designing and implementing storage and indexing strategies to provide efficient storage and retrievalDesired QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of design and architecture patterns and methodologies.Has and maintains a deep understanding of the role of big data in business and the enterprise.Experience performing research and development, and providing technical support to identify and integrate new and emerging data sourcesExperience in scaling applications on big data platforms to massive size.Experience with Data Warehousing, Enterprise Architectures, Dimensional Modeling, Data Analysis, Data Conversion/Transformation, Database Design, Data Warehouse Optimization, Data Mart Development, and Enterprise Data Warehouse Maintenance and Support etc.Experience in working with cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft AzureSalary and Benefits include but not limited to:
