ASRC is currently seeking a Software Developer Senior III to support our SEC customer (remote).Position Overview:ASRC Federal is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with expertise in Angular and React to support the STaRT program within the Software Engineering Center (SEC). This role will focus on developing and modernizing web-based applications used by the US Army, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for software development, delivering high-quality solutions, and working in a collaborative team environment.Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular and React frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and analysts, to deliver comprehensive software solutions aligned with Army requirements.

Participate in the entire software development lifecycle including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Create technical documentation to support development and sustainment activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as they arise.

Contribute to system architecture decisions and provide input on best practices for modern web development.

Ensure the security and integrity of web applications, aligning with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Angular and React.

Experience working on enterprise-level applications.

Proficiency with web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.

Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience working in support of DoD programs, preferably within the US Army.

Experience with the STaRT program or similar government software programs.

Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

Understanding of the Army’s Acquisition Process.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
