- Serve as the marketing department's subject-matter expert for all intelligence and analytics tools, platforms and proprietary company data sources. He or she will own these relationships and tools.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for marketing campaign strategy and optimizations, including media mix and campaign timing, at both the national and local academy level.
- Manage configuration, implementation, and administration of web analytics data collection using Google Tag Manager.
- Work with our technology team and agency partners to ensure all platforms, acquired intelligence, analytics tools and other data sources are interconnected and providing the most accurate data.
- Ensure standardized campaign tracking across all external media agencies.
- Drive development of analytics reports and dashboards.
- Ensure that all digital customer interactions are trackable and measurable to support reporting and optimization; define data collection requirements and recommend methods to achieve defined goals.
- Support the development of a multi-touch attribution strategy to capture the true customer journey.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc marketing results presentations as needed.
- Stay informed about, communicate, and apply new or current trends and best practices in marketing and analytics.
- Supports communication of acquired intelligence and analytics, with recommended approaches and implications, with key stakeholders
- Directly gather qualitative and quantitative market insights, as well as manage vendors gathering market intelligence for select projects
- Supports efforts to monitor competitive marketing landscape, using tools, internal resources, and external partnerships, to identify industry, product and market trends
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in a marketing analyst role.
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong experience in pulling data from multiple marketing platforms such as Facebook, Google AdWords, and email platforms either through bulk downloads or APIs.
- Demonstrated experience retrieving and analyzing data in various formats such as XML, JSON, SQL and other proprietary data formats.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of digital marketing channels, their KPI's, and how they drive customer behaviors.
- Analytical skills that can translate data into actionable items and recommendations for the team.
- Ability to take data and present it in executive summary format, as well as in a visual manner through charts and graphs.
