Overview

Network Engineer-Senior (PEOC3T-22-1312-F)

In support of the Joint Modernization Command and PEO C3T Programs, Bowhead seeks a Senior Network Engineer. The Senior Network Engineer designs and documents information technology networks supporting Joint, Army, and Multinational partner military exercises and experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing, reviewing, adjudicating and documenting the SoS Network architectures.
  • Coordinates, reviews and implements the Lower Tactical Tier (Integrated Tactical Network and Mobile Computing Environment), Upper Tactical Tier (Tactical Network), Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Networks, and Enterprise networks.
  • Coordinates with key stakeholders to capture network requirements to meet information exchange requirements.
  • Supports the design and development of the Project Convergence, Joint Warfighting Assessment, and other key exercise Network Architectures and different Network Design Review meetings.
  • Supports and leads a Tiger Team that troubleshoots complex network issues.
  • Supports multiple organization with the development of data-products, and radio and network loads, information flows, technical and mission threads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required) and 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Possess intricate knowledge of the C4ISR current and future network systems and applications and understand how to architect, design, develop, and integrate those systems with communications networks and services into a complete functional network.
  • Provide comprehensive network and systems engineering support.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for communication and network systems by continuously reviewing and studying future Army Capability Sets (CS).
  • Provide high level communication to management, and end users through meetings, presentations, and documentation.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
