Information Security Analyst (IEWSD-22-0126-F): Bowhead is seeking to add several Information Security Analysts to our team in Aberdeen, MD in support of our IEWS-D contract. The Information Security Analysts will be part of a new team that will develop a standardized set of artifacts, policies, processes and procedures to be implemented across the client organization to facilitate more efficient and successful accreditation package submissions. The Information security Analyst will also define standards and processes for continuous monitoring activities. Other responsibilities may include: • Rapidly familiarize self with complex systems to be authorized, prefer strong technical background Support development of required artifacts for system self-assessment including but not limited to SOPs, POA&Ms, RARs, SARs, etc. • Apply clear understanding of RMF roles and responsibilities, processes, procedures, and artifacts to A&A output • Use in-depth knowledge of control families and CCIs in conjunction with strong technical background to rapidly identify appropriate justifications from artifacts • Collaborate with technical support teams to interpret, document and translate technical information into data appropriate for RMF artifacts and submission packages • Utilize eMass for creation of RMF packages Requirements In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire. • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, or other Engineering or Technical discipline with an Information Security or Cyber Security Concentration or combination of education and experience • 7 years of relevant experience within the last 10 years • IAT Level II in accordance with standards spelled out in DoD 8570.01-M and the Army Information Assurance(IA) Training and Certification Best Business Practice SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
