Electronics Technician
Job Category: EngineeringTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: NoneCACI is seeking a cleared Electronic Technician to provide technician support to the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you are looking for a place to grow your skills and knowledge CACI would like to speak with you.What you'll Get to Do:- Fabricate threat replicas to include PCB assembly of both surface mount and through-hole components, enclosure modification, and final assembly.
- Responsible for the testing and Verification and Validation (V&V) of fabricated threat replicas utilizing benchtop equipment and following appropriate test plan.
- Ensure proper inventory control of both components and completed devices.
- Collaborate with engineer assigned to project to rectify any discrepancies in design and/or documentation.
- Follow all appropriate Hazmat procedures.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning PCBs and repair as necessary.
- Perform all functional duties independently.
- Active Interim Secret Clearance and obtain TS/SCI.
- AA or 2yr Tech School with 3 years' experience Or a HS Diploma/GED with 5 years' experience
- Knowledge of circuit boards and associated components.
- Ability to follow build instructions to assemble circuit boards.
- Skilled at soldering and using hand tools.
- Understanding of electronic testing and testing equipment.
- Ability to provide testing support for troubleshooting and repair of complex PC Boards, assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Knowledge of common machine shop tools to include: drill press, band saw, sheet metal equipment, etc.
- IPC soldering certification.
