Information Assurance Engineer, SeniorThe Challenge:Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could us e your cyber engineering skills to design and build secure systems for the Army? We're looking for an engineer who can create solutions for the c us tomer that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.As an information engineer on our project, you'll provide support as one of the leads for the Distributed Common Ground Systems - Army's information security operations. You'll coordinate work with c us tomers and other teams to identify the right mix of tools and te chn iques to translate your c us tomer's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new te chn iques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the ind us try is going. You'll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and c us tomizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you help c us tomers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices by contributing to program strategy and helping to eliminate risks across projects. Join our team, as we improve Join our team and create the future of information security operations for the Army.Empower change with us .You Have:-3+ years of experience with DoD cybersecurity, information assurance ( IA ) , DoD Information Assurance Certification, Accreditation Process ( DIACAP ) , or the Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) -Experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts ( IAVA ) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management ( IAVM ) and Security Te chn ical Implementation Guides ( STIG ) compliance-Experience with containers, including Cloud, Kubernetes, or Docker-TS/SCI clearance-BA or BS degree- Current DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification or obtain within 6 months of hireNice If You Have:-Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service ( eMASS ) -Experience with developing security policies while performing mid and long-range policy planning-Experience with Security Assessment and Authorization ( SA & A ) , and Authorization to Operate ( ATO ) processes-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph-MA or MS degree-CISSP CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.Build Your Career:Rewarding work, fun challenges, and a ton of investment in our people-that's Booz Allen cyber.
