Network Engineer, LeadThe Challenge:A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the Army to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the Army needs.As a network engineer on our team, you'll consult for the Army to mature and develop their communication platforms as they work on a reliable network to support critical missions. You'll lead a team assisting government a cquisition professionals, engineers, and Army users with learning the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You'll then lead the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you'll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to support your team with growing their knowledge base simple network management and peer to peer communications protocols while broadening the scope of your network engineering work. Empower change with us.You Have:- Experience with complex systems, concept development, peer to peer communications protocols, simple network management protocols (SNMP), and System Development Life cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of Tactical Radios, systems thinking, system test, Unix, NoSQL, Python, Ruby, RedHat, Interface Design, smart phones, and MUOS
- Ability to oversee and execute cradle to grave concept development across each phase of the System Development Life Cycle
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- BA or BS degree required
- Experience with RasberryPi or Golang
- Knowledge of ATAK, Bit Torrent, or Block Chain
- Secret clearance preferred
