Telecom Infrastructure Analyst

The Challenge:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the Army and DoD to achieve its mission, but how can an organization make sure its network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network with the right equipment and software requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a telecom analyst who knows how to support the development of those networks.

As a telecom analyst on our team, you'll help the Army design and build a reliable network to support critical missions. You'll work with SMEs, customers, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape network requirements. You'll then plan the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components in a laboratory infrastructure. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting hardware acquisition, you'll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to grow your skills in radio communications while continuing to grow your network engineering experience. Join us as we help Army network modernization initiatives.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a telecommunications specialist
  • 2+ years of experience with maintaining documentation for network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
  • 2+ years of experience with preparing training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery
  • 2+ years of experience in assisting network engineering with the deployment of LANs, WANs, and voice and wireless networks, including routers, hubs, switches, and UPS
  • 2+ years of experience with conducting research on network products, services, protocols, and standards
  • 2+ years of experience with configuring and testing networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation
  • 2+ years of experience with monitoring and troubleshoot problems, as needed
  • 2+ years of experience with working in a lab environment, including cabling, power, and rack configurations
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.
