NIC - Maryland, a division of Tyler Technologies (NYSE:TYL) is currently looking for an Office and Financial Manager to join their team. NIC - Maryland is a well-established local IT company that provides internet-based, electronic government services to state and local Maryland government.

Job duties in a few tidy bullet points:

  • Manages all aspects of customer subscription accounts including billing and maintenance of customer files
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and processes payment batches
  • Oversees accounts payable/receivables and maintains all vendor files
  • Oversee month-end financial closing procedures and reporting
  • Manage new service setups including bank, service code, and partner account setups
  • Manages daily office needs such as office supply orders and mail
  • Assist with new hire processing
  • Provide administrative support for management team
  • Provides excellent customer service thru email and phone interactions
  • Provide customer service support

You'll definitely need all this:

  • Undergraduate degree or related work experience
  • Minimum two years of job related experience
  • Must have excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, including verbal and written abilities
  • Must display a positive attitude and patience in dealing with customers
  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated with a desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly flexible and entrepreneurial environment
