Bring your ideas to our important work.Your Role on the TeamWe are looking for a Senior Director to manage ICF’s enterprise-wide Federal sector proposal team. You will manage a team of high-performing proposal professionals and supervise/manage their development of compelling, high-quality, and compliant proposals.ICF is in the business of making big things possible. ICF is a purpose-driven company with a strong culture and underlying values that prize diversity, opportunity, equality, and respect.Your ResponsibilitiesEffectively manage, guide, and direct ICF’s enterprise-level team of Federal sector proposal professionals

Oversee the successful development of compliant, compelling, and highly competitive proposals through effective collaboration across teams

Collaborate with BD leads, capture managers, group leadership, and other corporate support staff to manage and monitor workload planning and ensure appropriate resources are allocated

Drive the development and maintenance of standard proposal management processes, templates, artifacts, and tools

Contribute to corporate growth and process improvement initiatives by ensuring standard processes are executed across all proposals

Work to continually assess and improve processes and techniques

Create an inspiring team environment with open communication

Listen to team members’ feedback and foster a collaborative environment

Monitor team performance; motivate and mentor team members towards achieving goals

May be required to manage strategic, priority corporate bids or participate in reviews of critical proposals

What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree: specialization in communications, English, journalism, or related field preferred

Minimum 15+ years of proven successful experience managing proposal teams and proven ability leading a team of seasoned proposal professionals

Significant experience with all aspects of proposal preparation, development, and production

Experience with federal proposals and processes

Proven track record of leading the development of successful proposals

Strong proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Proficiency in the use of SharePoint and MS Teams

Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

Preferred QualificationsExcellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

Ability to manage geographically disparate teams

Ability to manage and work with all levels of internal staff

Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Experience developing and delivering training on proposal processes and procedures

Experience with state & local or commercial proposals and processes

Positive, collaborative attitude, even when under pressure

Customer service orientation

Strong organizational skills, initiative, and commitment to high-quality work

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The salary range for Colorado is - $157,176.00-$267,200.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
