Deckhand/Equipment Operator

Deckhand needed for well established local marine construction company. Work to include various manual duties to maintain operation of barges and tugboats, specifically including handling mooring lines and anchors, assisting with loading and unloading cargo, and performing routine safety and maintenance. Experience preferred but will train the ideal candidate. Must be able bodied as this position requires climbing on and off of vessels, working in wet conditions, and long days. There is also opportunity for advancement to operation of heavy equipment. Competitive salary offered for candidate with experience in both marine construction and heavy equipment operation. Must be a legal US citizen, fluent in English, and have own reliable transportation.
