Overview
Our direct end client is looking for a Junior-Level DevOps Engineer to support a U.S. Homeland Security program. This ten-year Federal project is located in Annapolis Junction, MD, work is being performed REMOTELY until COVID restrictions are lifted. Feel good about your work, as your team looks to ensure the safety of flights in the United States with passenger screening. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and automating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for a large-scale national security system. The DevOps implementation will include support for Agile Lifecycle Management, Build Automation, Deployment Automation, Continuous Integration, Test Automation, Security Analysis Automation, Static Code Analysis, Repository Management, and Infrastructure as Code. Initial activities will focus primarily on the infrastructure as code. Per our Federal Government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens eligible for a Secret Clearance. (Preference is given to those with an existing clearance.) Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of experience with Ruby coding
- 1+ years of experience with any of the following technologies:
- Chef
- Terraform
- Vault
- Consul
- Git
- CI/CD
- Docker
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- OpenLDAP
- BIND
- Kea
- VMWare
- vSphere
- Per our Federal Government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens eligible for a Secret Clearance
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Profile, Agile, Containers, OpenIAM, Check MK
- Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program with high availability requirements
