Windows Application Reverse Engineer SME, SeniorKey Role:

Provide computer network operations capability development and engineering services, including defense and exploitation to gain strategic advantages. Conduct reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of complex and diverse software systems. Design, develop, and document proof-of-concept software to demonstrate their findings and develop custom programs for automating reverse engineering and interacting with binaries being analyzed.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience with software engineering or reverse engineering, or 12 years without a Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with performing reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis of software binaries using IDA Pro and Ghidra
  • Experience with performing dynamic analysis of software binaries, including OllyDbg or WinDbg
  • Experience with developing software systems in assembly, C, C, or low-level proprietary languages on Windows, Unix, Linux, VxWorks, or vendor-proprietary operating systems
  • Experience with Operating System internals, including Windows, Linux, or MacOS
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows exploit protection mechanisms, including DEP, ASLR, or CFG
  • Experience developing user space applications for Microsoft Windows using the Win32 API
  • Experience with debugging Microsoft Windows applications such as using WinDbg
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS Diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with analyzing malware
  • Experience with reverse engineering x86 Windows binaries
  • Experience with reverse engineering embedded firmware
  • Experience with reverse engineering Microsoft Windows applications
  • Experience with developing hardware drivers for Microsoft Windows
  • Experience with developing CNO software
  • Experience with working in virtualized environments
  • Experience with analyzing network protocols
  • Knowledge of IA concepts, including cryptography
