Every day, our 10,000 employees do the can't be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers. We're seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join our Peraton team. The position will be in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Data Flow coordination to support deployed and new installations
- Collaborating with other team members on various levels of operating systems, applications and related support in the Linux environment
- Installing/configuring data transport applications to include mailorder, jdts and niagrafiles
- Coordinating with customers to ensure data paths are established from customer sites to back-end repositories
- Implementing the data flow requirements for new deployments or upgrades
- Conducting data flow tests at customer sites and follow up activities
- Providing system engineering support to the Scenario Lead as required, which involves coordinating with the different components that the scenario interfaces with-in preparation for end-to-end dataflow validation
- Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering or related discipline and nine years of relevant experience or a high school diploma and thirteen years of relevant experience.
- Nine years of experience on SIGINT programs (must be evidenced in work history) and installing and configuring data transport applications to include mailorder, jdts and niagrafiles
- RedHat Linux, or advanced general Linux knowledge
- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance
- Familiar with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data flow regulations
- Familiar with AWS - Lambda, Route 53, Cloudfront, S3 buckets, Firewall, and Cognito Authentication
- Familiar with DOD 5000
- Knowledge of collection systems
- SIGINT data type knowledge
- Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short and long term requirements
- Candidate must be highly organized, thorough, self-motivated, proactive and outgoing. Extensive collaboration with project personnel and partner/customer groups is required - Strong communications skills is a must
- Self-starter who is able to get up to speed quickly and can work independently
- Collaborative attitude and team-oriented
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
