With the desire and demand for more convenient engagements with providers beyond traditional in-office visits, a strategic and well-scaled care delivery entity is preparing to launch a virtual, advanced primary care solution that offers a viable alternative to traditional primary care for healthy and at-risk employees and dependents. The soon-to-be announced offering will serve patient needs via digital, virtual, and home-delivered services, and will seamlessly connect patients to preferred hands-on care. Additionally, the offering will provide members with an enhanced experience through increased access, convenience, and better-connected care. While focusing initially on the mid-Atlantic region, the vision is to be available nationally in a short ramp up. The care delivery entity will be launched under its own brand and message separate (but connected) from its affiliates.

PURPOSE

The IT Business Relationship Manager is a senior level, highly adaptable and versatile individual contributor that will interface with business areas as a trusted advisor and advocate of Information Technology capabilities. This individual will serve as liaison for various activities, as driven by the business, relative to supporting process efficiencies, creating operational scale, technology enhancements, and proactive support for strategic and product development initiatives. The BRM is responsible for working with the business and key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and capture business value for each initiative while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and IT roadmap.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ensure delivery of technology value to the business by nurturing high level long-term relationships, sensing business ideas and promoting the value of IT in delivering business solutions.
  • Measure, track, and report on value realization, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction relative to technology projects delivered.
  • Develop an understanding of the business from financial, administrative, and operational views both internally and externally, and ensure IT resources and technology are selected/implemented that support short and long term business goals.
  • Partner with and provide direction to Business Process Analysts to deliver idea analysis artifacts and provide information to complete reporting and communication dashboards.
  • Continual improvement of the BRM Team's playbook, standards, templates, and best practices for both the Business Relationship Manager and Business Process Analyst roles.
  • Report on ideas and inflight Business Relationship Management initiatives to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field

Experience: 10 years progressive experience to include business/system analysis, program/project management, or related advisory or delivery experience with demonstrated delivery of complex initiatives in matrix and cross functional working environments and teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of prior consulting or professional services experience

  • Follows evolving market, industry and consumer trends
  • Is able to build relationships at all levels in the organization up to and including executive leadership
  • Technology generalist, demonstrating mastery in specialized areas
  • Able to scan and understand technology trends and major vendors to support business capabilities
  • Identifies business implications of new technologies
  • Effective communication of complex ideas both verbal and written
  • Exceptional facilitation and organizational skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Significant experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytic skills utilizing tools such as Power BI, Excel, etc.
