Description of Work:
- Testing/debugging REST APIs implemented using Java and Spring Boot.
- Designing and developing automated unit, integration and behavioral tests via TDD.
- Leveraging testing libraries and frameworks such as JUnit, Spring Test, Mockito, Cucumber and Selenium.
- Integrating automated tests into a DevOps pipeline using Jenkins and Maven as part of the SDLC.
- Developing and implementing automated tests profiles.
- Analyzing logs using tools like Splunk and Nagios.
- Using the JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements, user stories, defects/bugs and testing artifacts.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline and 7 years of experience or Masters and 5 years of experience or 11 years of related experience in lieu of degreeMinimum of 2 years of experience:
- Testing/debugging REST APIs implemented using Java and Spring Boot
- Designing and developing automated unit, integration and behavioral tests via TDD
- Leveraging testing libraries and frameworks such as JUnit, Spring Test, Mockito, Cucumber, Selenium or any other equivalent
- Integrating automated tests into a DevOps pipeline using Jenkins and Maven as part of the SDLCMinimum of 1 year of experience:
- Developing and implementing automated tests profiles that execute across multiple environments using the Spring framework
- Analyzing logs using tools like Splunk, Nagios or any other equivalent
- Using the JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements, user stories, defects/bugs and testing artifacts
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer. No Visa sponsorship is available for this position
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
- Ability to absorb and apply new technical knowledge rapidly as it relates to JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSL Extended Validation certificates, and other standards
- Ability to advocate for comprehensive testing strategies and staying up to date on the latest testing methods and tools
- Basic knowledge of containerized applications
- Basic knowledge of code scanning tools such as SonarQube (static code analysis) and Sonatype Nexus (vulnerability scanning)
- Basic knowledge of SSL/TLS, x.509 certificates and related web standards
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong understanding of how to isolate a SUT using mocks, stubs and shims for applications that leverage IoC
