Piper Health & Sciences has an opportunity for a part-time

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist with a pharmaceutical company in the

Baltimore, MD area. This position will be on-site and averaging 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities for the EHS Specialist include:

• Provide support, execution, and advice in the areas of safety, health, and the job environment.

• Serve as the primary administrative resource to support various EHS programs (i.e. PPE, IH, Engagement, etc.) and a technical resource for the leadership team.

• Oversee and ensure the implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.

• Manage the training and inspection programs according to company EHS protocols.

• Conduct data and risk analyses to track emerging and/or existing EHS risks, and to develop mitigation strategies.

• Manage or participate in the investigations of all EHS incidents and ensures corrective actions are implemented.

• Coaches and trains employees at all levels on EHS compliance.

Qualifications for the EHS Specialist include:

• 2+ years of relevant experience following and/or implementing EHS protocols within a regulated environment.

• Knowledge of and application of EHS regulations, cGMP guidelines, and/or OSHA certification.

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health, or similar degree is strongly desired.

Compensation for the EHS Specialist includes:

• Salary Range: approximately $38 - $45 hourly, commensurate with experience
