Financial AnalystThis is a contract opportunity.This role is Hybrid (3 days in office) in Baltimore, MDAbout this PositionJoin our Global Capital Markets – Corporate Lending team as a Financial Analyst, where you’ll help produce the daily profit and loss (P&L) for various trading strategies. In this role, you’ll reconcile the Business Unit’s estimated P&L against the firm’s sub-ledger P&L and investigate discrepancies. You’ll gain exposure to financial products, trading strategies, and risk and finance systems that support the firm’s operations. This position offers a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of corporate lending and financial reporting within a global markets environment.Job ResponsibilitiesProduce and reconcile daily profit and loss (P&L) reports across multiple strategies.Investigate and resolve discrepancies between estimated and sub-ledger P&L results.Collaborate with finance, risk, and business partners to validate data accuracy.Develop working knowledge of products and strategies used within Global Capital Markets.Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while meeting tight deadlines.Job Skills/RequirementsBachelor’s degree preferred, not required.Basic understanding of financial products and concepts.Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups).Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with digital tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is a plus.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Must be local to Baltimore, MD and available to work in-office 3 days per week.Why Should I Apply?This role provides a hands-on opportunity to grow within a global financial institution while developing expertise in financial products, risk systems, and data reconciliation.
