Instructional Systems Designer

Position Description CGI Federal Training & Outreach is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) with facilitation and course delivery experience. The ISD will develop and deliver face-to-face, and virtual user training, and train-the-trainer instruction for the pre-deployment of our client's Medicare enrollment system. The ISD will ensure uniformity in developing materials with client's goals and learning objectives. You will work closely with application development teams, stakeholders, and our client. This position will be a key role in the delivery of training across multiple venues and methods.

Your future duties and responsibilities Create and compile knowledge based articles, and specific training materials (for conferences, and training events) into concise training programs for delivery to end users, and trainers. Facilitate the creation of and delivery of training curriculum for live training including a train-the-trainer program for large and geographically dispersed audiences. Create and manage course work for multiple teams and audiences. Drive projects to completion within aggressive time frames. Create engaging learning activities that meet instructional objectives and support participant learning by incorporating adult learning theories and facilitating real-world practice. Ensure learning materials across platforms are updated for on-going training initiatives while managing multiple updates.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role Degree in Instructional Systems Design, or certification and experience Research, develop, design, and deliver training as needed (heavy emphasis on design & delivery). Knowledge of Medicare Enrollment. (desirable) Training experience should include, explaining complex workflows, and new or redesigned technology solutions. Previous experience delivering training for government agencies. Ability to train remote and onsite. Ability to create training courses based on research and feedback. Knowledge of Confluence, Adobe Captivate, or other learning creative software. (desirable) Demonstrated history of superior communication skills, verbal and written, with diverse personalities, technical competency levels, and cultures. Have worked on teams that are cross-functional, collaborative, and geographically dispersed Minimum 5 years of experience of research, design, development and delivery of complex end user training. Experience developing training within an Agile environment. (preferred)
