AECOM is seeking a well-qualified Lead Rail Systems Engineer to support transit and rail projects, including the design, implementation, and modification of vehicles, SCADA, train control and signaling systems. This position requires expertise in signal engineering, systems integration, and safety-critical applications for freight and or passenger rail operations. The selected candidate will work with engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of signaling solutions in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.Expectations:
The role involves analyzing, designing, and commissioning Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) Systems which includes Control Center and Vehicle Integration to achieve the client's end objectives of service and passenger comfort. The selected candidate will work with internal design teams and client personnel to develop functional and detailed designs for new and existing signal systems, ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will also be required to participate in Business Development initiatives including preparing proposals, client meetings and knowledge sharing presentations to demonstrate AECOM's capabilities and expertise in the industry.
