Basic Qualifications:
- 8+yrs experience working as Network Engineer (Cisco-Routing & Switching)
- 8+yrs demonstrated experience with Designing and Implementing Network Solutions for Enterprise or Service Provider Datacenters.
- 1-3 yrs of experience or good understanding of Firewalls (e.g. Cisco ASA, Checkpoint.)
- 1-3 yrs of experience or good understanding of Wireless Technologies (e.g. Cisco WLC, Cisco Client, Cisco Prime)
- 1-3 yrs of experience or good understanding of VOIP Technologies (e.g. CUCM, SIP, MGoogle Cloud Platform, PRI/ISDN etc.)
- 1-3 yrs working knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
- 1-3 yrs or basic understanding of Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- 1-3 yrs or basic knowledge of Linux
- Ability to function independently, travel to sites around the state of Maryland and DC
- Must have CCIE, CCDE, or CCDP Certifications
- Good verbal Communication skills - able to communicate with non-technical users and at a technical level with vendors and technical teams
- Good written communication skills
- Good attention to technical details
- Able to work independently and to adhere to stringent timelines
