Pipeline Inspector

AECOM is actively seeking a Pipeline Inspector to be located in the Baltimore, MD Metropolitan area.The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:Responsible for setting own project deadlines.Provides on the job training to new employees.Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.Tracks quality assurance progress.Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.Ensures compliance with safety regulations and procedures.Coordinates with project managers and contractors to resolve issues.Prepares detailed inspection reports and documentation.Identifies potential risks and recommends preventive measures.Participates in project meetings and provides updates on inspection progress.Conducts material testing and verifies quality of supplies.Monitors environmental impact and ensures adherence to environmental regulations.Assists in developing and updating inspection procedures and checklists.
