Project CoordinatorBaltimore, MDContract-to-PermanentPosition Summary: The Project Coordinator is responsible for receiving and managing all projects coming through Gateway Analytical, from the initial log in procedure to the final sample disposition process.The Project Coordinator receives all incoming project samples, logs them into the system in accordance, and ensures all needed documentation is in place. This includes following up with customers to inform them of their project status, and tracking down any missing paperwork such as an SDS, quote, or purchase order. After projects are completed by the technical team, the Project Coordinator is then responsible for sample disposition, which may include returning samples to the customer. Secondary roles include updating the ‘Exline Tracking’ document, disposing of sample packaging, and handling all outgoing shipments from the company.Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Logs incoming projects in accordance to GAP-016

Ensures sample storage is in accordance with temperature recommendations as per the SSF

Ensures necessary documentation is with each project (SDS, Quote, Purchase Order, etc)

Informs customers of their project login status

Updates the ‘Exline Tracking’ document with project info

Issues revision/supplemental paperwork

Updates the Sample Receiving log book

Disposes of sample packaging

Ensures proper protocol was followed with regard to controlled substances

Disposes of samples in accordance to the SSF after analysis is complete

Maintains good documentation practices to ensure compliance with standards and specifications

All other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience: Relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: A keen interest in a fast-paced learning environment with an emphasis on applying new skills, good written and oral communication skills, basic word processing skills, team-oriented work ethic, and customer service abilities.
