Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a fully remote Software Engineer to support a local government program looking to consolidate their client data from a variety of disparate sources into easily searchable one-stop shops for information. Building an intuitive, human-centered gateway for their client's security information that will reduce the burden on employees and empower users across these federal programs!
Responsibilities for Software Engineer:- Required to build software solutions in the form of maintainable code per the project/organization technical standards.
- Deliver complete software solutions that function well within the full system including documentation and automated unit/integration tests.
- Debugs existing software and corrects defects.
- Perform manual testing individually and with the team, as appropriate for the project test strategy.
- Proficient in web development including front-end (browser) and back-end (server) including UI components, client-server integrations, APIs, and data persistence.
- Skilled in Python programming language and associated frameworks such as (Django/Flask)
- Must be versed with React.
- Experience with building applications in containerized development environments.
- Expert in basic GIT actions like cloning, creating branches, navigating between branches, staging code for commit, committing code, resetting, and merging.
- $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
- Fully Remote opportunity, equipment provided.
