JOB SUMMARY: The major responsibility of this position is to assume a leadership role on the assigned shift, be accountable and responsible for that shift, and lead the shift’s maintenance associates.
This position is responsible for shift oversight, coordination of equipment downtime resolution, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities, employee safety and intra-departmental communication issues.
This position leads and coaches the maintenance associates in the areas of problem resolution, continuous improvement, waste reduction and to assure that constructive change occurs at the shop floor level.
REQUIREMENTS:
Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
3-5 years of experience
Must hold a Maryland Driver’s License
