- Create and maintain project budgets, schedules, status reports and all required projectartifacts for the lifecycle of the project
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and meet or exceed expectations
- Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or environment updates
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves risks and issues using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to produce and deliver deployment document to customers
- Negotiate, deployment plan, and manage all release activities
- Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors
- Continually work toward making improvements in the release process
- Lead and coordinate go-live activities including the execution of deployment plans and checklists
- Participate in change control meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
- Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
- Work with engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Agile certifications
- Experience in release management both on-prem and AWS
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, Business or related field
- Knowledge of best practices and tools in an automated CI/CD framework
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT-related project management and release management
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Strong technical and tactical problem-solving skills; Must be able to demonstrate technical competence and a proven track record of technical accomplishments in the technology field
- Experience with cloud platforms (MS Azure/AWS, Hybrids)
- Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment): Git; VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services), Azure
- General PC knowledge including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Team, and Office 365applications
