The Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering, Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) invite applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty positions in the area of Epigenomics. Outstanding candidates at all academic ranks will be considered. They will also be encouraged to collaborate with existing university-wide initiatives.EpigenomicsWe seek candidates whose research focuses on the development and application of cutting-edge epigenomic technologies, including but not limited to DNA methylation profiling, histone modification mapping, chromatin accessibility assays, nuclear organization, and single-cell epigenomic techniques. We welcome candidates employing either experimental, computational, or integrated approaches, particularly those whose work advances our understanding of gene regulation, cellular differentiation, and disease mechanisms by integrating genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data.The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent, internationally recognized research program that leverages epigenomic insights to address fundamental questions in biology, with applications to human health, disease diagnosis, and personalized medicine. This cluster hire initiative is part of the Bloomberg Distinguished Professor Epigenomics cluster.
