GRANNY'S RESTAURANT is an upscale casual busy high pace restaurant looking for EXPERIENCED Line COOKS , LEAD EXPEDITOR, AND DISHWASHERS

Must be a team player. Currently we have part-time and full-time positions available. Applicant can work a minimum of 1-2 shifts per week. Open interviews Monday and Tuesday 12-7 and Friday 12-4 or by appointment.

LINE COOK( Full time and Part-time positions available)

2 years experience preferred

Should have a working knowledge of basic cooking skills. an understanding of how to use a variety food service equipment.

Must be able to follow a recipe and portion control guideline as established by the restaurant.

Prepares menu items according to Grannys Restaurant recipes, including plating and portion specifications

Must have knowledge of temperature food preparations, temping all cooked items to ensure they meet the minimum internal temperature for food safety

Must know and follow sanitary food handling procedures, and practices cleaning and sanitation.

Ability to read and execute orders in a timely manner

Ability to set up work station, cleans, stocks and restock workstation

Maintains sanitations and safety standards in work station

Must be a team player and willing to work with other family team members

Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects including opening and closing procedures

Serv-Safe is a plus, but not necessary.

LEAD FOOD EXPEDITOR

Experience as a food expeditor or line cook required

The main goal of the expediter is to ensure that all food orders are prepared in a timely manner, according to ticket specifics, and Granny's Restaurant procedures.

Ensure hot food is served hot and cold food cold each and every every time.

Ensure integrity of food is maintained to the highest degree

Able to communicate with line cooks effectively to ensure timely and quality execution of each and every order

Ability to lead and direct supportive expo staff team members

Communicates any problems to Kitchen manager, Chef or House Manager in a timely manner

Ensures mistakes and remakes are executed quickly and correctly

Must be organized and detailed oriented

DISHWASHER

A Granny's DISHWASHER needs to be able to handle large volumes of dishware in a high paced environment while maintaining quality, cleanliness, organization, and speed. This position must be filled by someone with a positive attitude who is passionate about their role in the business and who will take charge of their station. We need someone who is observant, attentive, and high energy. FULL TIME AND PART TIME positions are available.
