Job PurposeThe Director of Information Technology is a dynamic position overseeing and directing the operations of all aspects of Information Technology within the organization. These aspects include, but are not limited to: server management, networking, application development, field support, remote support, contract negotiation, security monitoring, and strategic planning. This position is responsible for maintaining the project and resources of the department while continually evaluating cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop technology solutions in conjunction with various corporate departments and store operations.
  • Manage large scale IT initiative projects and consult on IT involvement in other department projects
  • Create, monitor, and continually lean the department budget & spending strategies.
  • Assist in the enforcement of policies and procedures as laid out in the support center handbook, security policy, and corporate SOP documents.
  • Oversee store level help desk and remote support operations of store technologies. Continually evaluate SLAs & effectiveness of support center operations.
  • Oversee technical field support staff and inventory asset management and purchasing strategies.
  • Oversee headquarters help desk and desktop support including Data center, networked printers, and facility security systems.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts such as hosted services, consulting services and software maintenance agreements.
  • Hire, Manage and Develop IS staff and managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or business management, or 7 years related experience and/or training.
  • Experience with multi-site, retail environment.
  • Experience with Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft server operating systems
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the quick serve or convenience/petroleum store environment.
  • In depth knowledge of PCI/DSS requirements.
  • Project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of SQL Server database management
  • Knowledge of Hybrid-Cloud Server Environments.

Working ConditionsThis position is a full-time position which will work in the corporate office in Baltimore, MD.
