Piper Health and Sciences is seeking a

Quality Assurance Specialist to support a well-established biopharmaceutical organization in the Baltimore, MD area. The Quality Assurance Specialist will perform quality on the floor responsibilities.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist:

• Perform on-the-floor quality functions including real-time batch record review, in-process auditing, dispositions, and walkthroughs of GMP areas to ensure inspection readiness

• Provide oversight to all QA manufacturing processes, including resolving deviations, batch records, CAPAs, work orders, and logbooks

• Write, revise, and approve SOPs (standard operating procedures), batch records and eDocs

• Perform risk assessments, root cause analysis investigations, and evaluate deviations

• Track and document all QA on the floor audits, logbook audits, and in-process audits as well as oversee aseptic operations for filling lines

Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Specialist:

• 3+ years of QA (quality assurance) or manufacturing experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (GMP environment)

• Experience with aseptic gowning and performing on-the-floor quality assurance activities

• Bachelor's degree in life science-related field (biology, chemistry, biological sciences, immunology) preferred

• Position will support 3 rd shift operations

Compensation of the Quality Assurance Specialist:

• Salary between $50-59/hr with 15% shift differential as this will operate on a 3 rd shift schedule commensurate of years of relevant experience
