Description of Work:

  • Identifying data needs and proper methods for data gathering, integration, preparation, data quality and data governance.
  • Performing exploratory and targeted analyses, generating and testing working hypothesis, preparing, mining and analyzing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, identifying patterns/trends and insight using basic and advanced statistical algorithms, modeling and visualization tools, programming languages and analytical/machine learning/ deep learning techniques.
  • Design, architect, code and deploy production ready Deep Learning models.

RequirementsBasic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience or a Masters degree and 5 years of related experience or a minimum 11 years of work experience in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Analytics
  • Minimum of 7 year experience working with vocational data sets
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with database structures and query tools such as SQL, PostgreSQL, Hadoop
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with:
  • Python; additional knowledge of other programming languages (C, R, etc.)
  • Deep neural networks including convolutional networks and recurrent networks, and machine learning in general
  • Deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, Theano, Keras
  • Data architecture, data curation, data cleansing, and data modeling concepts
  • GPU computing
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience applying data analytics and machine learning concepts and methodologies
  • Minimum of 5 years expertise in building HiveQL structures on top of HDFS data; an expert in constructing and accessing Hive tables
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
  • Experience working with data sets from the fedral clent
  • Experience with fraud analytics/fraud detection
  • Experience with SAS and coding in SAS
  • Proficiency in identifying, integrating and preparing disparate data sets of varying types (both structured and unstructured), sizes and structures
  • Strong analytical, quantitative reasoning, mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Deep Learning on AWS
  • Experience working on CI/CD/DevOps technologies like GitHub, Jenkins, Docker etc
