This position requires a senior-level cyber security enterprise / systems architect with experience in specification of, integration of, and deployment of cyber security capabilities in medium-sized government, military, or enterprise environments. The candidate will be responsible to evaluate the architecture and existing implementations of complex networks currently in use by, or planned for use by, Qatari military organizations. The candidate will be responsible to develop complex network and cyber security architectures, present those architectures in the form of functional and testable contract requirements, and then oversee system integrator design and implementation of solutions. The candidate will represent US Government interests in the evaluation of cyber security programs and technical implementation details as required to achieve approval for the Qatari military to possess, store, process, and transmit us Classified Military Information in furtherance of approved US military interoperability requirements.

Responsibilities

Detail oriented, self-motivated, and technically adept individual with experience creating both enterprise and systems level architectures. Substantial experience in the area of systems engineering, including the conversion of cyber-security related user requirements to functional and testable systems acquisition requirements. Demonstrated understanding of the NIST SP800 series information security publications, with an ability to develop security and systems architectures that recognize and incorporate protections required under NIST SP800-53 controls. Candidate should be familiar with and have experience security military networks processing, storing, and transmitting US Classified Military Information. Candidates must be able to meet all requirements to obtain resident work visa permits in Qatar. Certifications
  • ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
  • ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (or equivalent) preferred
Education Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of domain-relevant experience. Experience must include substantial cyber systems security engineering work, ideally in a US Government / US Military environment. Additional Qualifications: Previous experience working technical engagements with government and military customers in the MEA regions is preferred but not required. Ideal candidates will have an existing active US Government SECRET (or higher) security clearance.
