DescriptionSAIC is seeking an Administrative Assistant to serve as the DoD focal

point for the establishment of Joint Document Expliotation Centers

(JDECs)This position will be involved in the following:

Serve as key interface between NMEC’s deploying personnel and TDYpersonnel and the DIA Expeditionary Readiness Center (EXRC) that managesdeployments and travel to restricted areas as defined by the Unified Commandsplaced in authority over final deployment/travel destinations.

Advise NMEC personnel of all applicable travel policies andupdates or changes to travel policies.

Coordinate with Deployment Mission Managers, Global Force Management(GFM), Contracting Officers and interested parties in managing manpowersupporting forward deployed DOMEX platforms. Participates in policy discussions and working groups with NMECleadership, DIA elements and partner agencies

Manage Deployment Readiness for the NMEC

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is required

At least 3-5 years’ experience in the Departmentof Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC)

Demonstrated strong oral and writtencommunications skills.

Experience in deploying personnel and equipment.

Hands on experience with Defense Travel System(DTS), Air Craft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) and Synchronized Predeployment Operational Tracker (SPOT)

Experience Managing Billets for Unit ManningDocument/Global Manning Document

Ability to advise and submit personnel forTheater and Country Clearance Requests

Familiarity with managing a Deployment Readiness Program

Proven experience and capability using MS OfficeSuite with emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of DIA organization and structure

Knowledge of Combatant Commands and their respective AORs

Ability to research and provide advise on travel restrictions throughout the world
