Role: Data Governance and Engineering Consultant

Primary Skills: Data Analysis

Role Description: The

Data Governance and Engineering Consultant must have at least 3-5 years of experience.

Required Experience: - Data Governance Management - Deep understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) - Experience using tools such as Informatica or similar - Ability to establish the full suite of complex data government procedures for a large and complex organization: (i) a data privacy and security incident response plan; (ii) a breach notification plan; and (iii) procedures and requirements for allowing access to data and personally identifiable information for a legitimate research purpose;

Best Practices: - Leverage industry best practices to manage and maintain data privacy and security practices in the processing of data and personally identifiable information across information technology and records management systems

Skills and Qualification Requirements: - BS/BA and 3 years experience - Experience as a data governance professional - Responsible for governing data and ensure its quality - Ability to extract data and ensure its availability - Excellent verbal and written communications skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and customer service aptitude. - Skilled in MS Office and MS Project - Experience with implementation and reviewing data dashboards using various analytical tools such as Tableau - Ability to think analytically, solve problems, and make effective decisions under pressure. - Ability to work independently and in small collaborative teams - Attention to detail. - Effective task management skills. - Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.

Preferred: - Any knowledge of ISO 8000 standards is highly preferred - Public Health Data experience - Experience with privacy laws (FERPA, PPRA, HIPAA, COPPA)

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis
