Description: Installs and maintains complex networks that typically link numerous computing platforms, operating systems, and network topologies across widely dispersed geographic areas. Evaluates hardware and software suitable for large, complex networks. Tests and implements interface programs. Develops security procedures. Manages network performance. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems to ensure minimal disruption of mission-critical applications. Maintains fault-tolerant systems and manages systems backups. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Responsibilities:
  • Requires eight (8) or more years' experience managing and overseeing the operational supporting mission critical environment supporting multiple data centers including Cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Requires eight (8) or more years' experience leading a diverse team of network engineers and network administrators. This includes storage engineer, Windows engineers, Cloud and Unix engineers
  • Hands on experience managing and assigning tasks and deliverables
  • Demonstrates required technical skills as well as the ability to organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and execution of all tasks and deliverables assigned.
  • Creates and establishes new standards and procedures and translates high level work plans into detailed assignments for team members
  • Monitors and tracks progress of project and work plan.
  • Collaborates within team, across IT, and with business leaders and 3rd party vendors.
  • Expert in solving highly complex problems and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements:
  • Advanced certification such as CCNA or MCSE
  • SCCM or similar certification required
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in designing and deploying sustainable infrastructure and platform services focused on security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Configure and manage user services and data across multiple cloud and data centers environments.
  • Strong proficiencies in network configuration, operating systems, virtualization, and infrastructure management in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Deep understanding of hybrid architecture and design patters to build and maintain high-availability services.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery, incident response, and multi-region failover.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in designing and deploying Leaf and spine network infrastructure
