Job Description
The public relations specialist is a proactive and detail-oriented individual who coordinates the company’s public relations efforts, promotes programs and special events, plans and produces events, and provides departmental administrative support. This person is an excellent communicator and a self-starter with at least 2 years of related experience. The coordinator reports to the head of marketing and public relations.
Salary range: $38000 - $48000 per year.
Responsibilities
Create partnerships with thought leaders to raise business awareness.
Track, interpret and communicate outcomes on a quarterly basis.
Coordinate all tasks related to marketing teams.
Promote new business and industry contacts.
Keep track of the marketing and sales processes.
Work with new and existing customers.
Develop a marketing communications plan, including goals, strategy, budget, and tactics.
Consider opportunities for collaborations on a continuous basis.
Maintain a good understanding of market dynamics impacting clients and make reasonable suggestions on the communication and sales strategy.
Qualifications
Previous work experience in sales and communications is an asset.
Good ties with local network.
BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline preferred.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience with customer service is a plus.
