Senior C# Developer, Homesnap Job Description
Homesnap, now a member of the CoStar Family, is an award-winning, fast-growing, DC area based company. We've built a real estate mobile and web solution that gives real estate agents access to the tools and information that they need to be great agents, and we believe that we can be the most important tool for every real estate agent in the country. We're looking for an object-oriented C# .NET Developer who takes pride in building innovative, scalable applications in pursuit of a great user experience. If this sounds like you, please read on. Using .NET and C# we've built a highly scalable backend architecture to service our products. If our website and apps are the tip of the iceberg, our .NET services are the bummock (look it up, it's totally a word). Our infrastructure is built using IIS, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS (Fargate, EC2, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3), and more. We integrate with several third-party SaaS providers, including SendGrid, Twilio, Pusher, Mixpanel, Zoho, Elastic.co (Elasticsearch), and more. We also leverage various marketing APIs (Facebook, Adwords, etc) to drive our successful revenue products. As an integral member of our world-class development team, you'll help us develop the next generation of Homesnap products, apps and services. You'll gain experience in many different areas and have the opportunity to make a real impact to the company's bottom-line. About You We're looking for a teammate, not an "employee". Core Responsibilities Use object-oriented design principles to write efficient, modular C# code Work with designers, front-end developers and product managers to build modern apps Convert specifications and requirements into functional web services Modify, test, debug, and implement changes to data-driven apps and libraries Design and implement data models with SQL and/or LINQ/EF Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 6+ years practical, hands-on experience developing with .NET and C# 4+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2+ years experience working with AWS technologies Preferred Qualifications Detail-oriented and able to self-manage several concurrent tasks Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members Effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences For Special Consideration Include links to websites or apps that you've built, along with a description of your role and responsibilities Include links to your AngelList, Github, or StackOverflow profile We welcome all qualified candidates who are currently eligible to work full-time in the United States to apply.
