Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Technician will assist the Manufacturing Plant Engineering and Maintenance team by performing various duties and projects in support of successful product delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assists all Engineers with their tasks and assignments.
  • Plan, schedule, lead and trains others regarding equipment preventative maintenance (PMs).
  • Performs welding, light machining, electrical, mechanical repairs, installing, aligning, assembly of new equipment and repairs.
  • May inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment.
  • Performs welding processes to join, surface, fabricate or repair parts or metal or other weldable materials, as specified by work orders, blueprints, sketches or charts.
  • Electrical wiring and electrical controls.
  • Troubleshoot, install program frequency drive drives.
  • Ladder Logic PLC programming.
  • Fabricate and build weldments per prints.
  • High-end troubleshooting of pneumatic and electrical issues on proprietary equipment.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience and Skill Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to thrive in fast pace environment
